CLASS-1 DRIVER
WORKPLACE: 226 Poirier Street, St-Eustache
PERMANENT POSITION
TransGestion is a well-established company in automobile transportation.
We serve Ontario, Québec, and the Maritime provinces. We are currently looking for a driver who has their class 1 to complete our team.
This position is considered long-distance, as you will be making one Montréal-Toronto (2 days) and one Montréal-Halifax (3 days) trip per week. You will return to the terminal between each trip.
THE MAIN TASKS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Pick up vehicles, inspect them and load them onto your equipment;
- Deliver the vehicle;
- Do your safety rounds;
- Fill out legal documents such as a logbook of driving hours;
- Other related duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid class-1 driver’s licence;
- Good physical condition;
- Team spirit;
- Resourceful;
- Decision-making (judgment).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Competitive salary between 75K and 100K per year, depending on experience;
- Year-round employment;
- Monday to Friday schedule;
